On November 12th, the Sino-Europe Science, Technology and Innovation(STI) Cooperation Seminar was held in High-Speed Rail New Town(HSR) of Suzhou Xiangcheng district. The event focused on the coorperation between EU and China in STI industry. It’s also the first stop of the China Matchmaking Tour, organized by ENRICH China.
ENRICH China
European Network of Research and Innovation Centres and Hubs (ENRICH), hosted by EU SME, is a centre who bridges EU and China business, organizations and activities in STI Research sectors by offering them services, such as advisory consultancy, co-working supporting with Soft-landing zone, enabling events, training etc.
They are open to different types of organizations in Research, Innovation Business, including Research Centres, STI Networks Platforms, SMEs, Large Companies, and Start-ups.
EU Sino, Softlanding Zone of ENRICH
On June 22nd of this year, EU Sino was certified officially as one of its new softlanding zones, which qualified EU Sino as an organization capable of helping STI businesses to land in China.
Softlanding zone provides a packaged landing services, such as:
- localization guidance
- co-working space offer
- administrative and secretariat support
- advice on laws and regulations affecting RDI-related activities
- administrative and secretariat support
ENRICH has a network of 11 softlanding zones in China. Currently among the first certified landing zones, EU Sino, is recognized as the key service provider to European companies planning to land in Suzhou. EU Sino, always acts as a trust link among local industries, foreign businesses and Chinese government, was also the co-organizer of this event. Our CEO, Mr Frederic Derbaudrenghien was invited to give a speech during the event.

ENRICH Matchmaking tour in China
This time, ENRICH brought around 20 European governmental organizations, Universities and STI companies from France, Sweden, Finland, Austria, Bulgaria, Belgium, Lithuania and some other Eastern countries to participate this Matchmaking Tour in China from November 11th to 16th. This mission aims to enable participants to visit leading technology innovation companies and participate in thematic seminars with networking and B2B sessions.
HSR, the strategic core of Xiangcheng district, focus on development of Sci-Tech Research & Development, Sci-Tech Finance and Culture & Creative industries. EU Sino is looking forward to further cooperation with ENRICH to connect Europe and China, especially in the Science, Technology and Innovation, in which HSR has great potential.
