XIANGCHENG PROFILE

Xiangcheng represents a total area of 490㎢ and a total population of around one million. It is divided into five zones , where each of them have a specific targeted sector with several industrial parks, offices and research sections.

Location

Suzhou – Xiangcheng District is centrally located in Suzhou, Jiangsu Province. It borders areas like: Suzhou old town, Suzhou Industrial Park (SIP), Suzhou New District (SND), Changshu or Kunshan.

Transportation

At short distance from major cities such as Shanghai, Hangzhou or Nanjing, Xiangcheng has an easy reach to more than 20% of China’s total GDP.

  • International airports (<1.5hours): Shanghai Hongqiao, Shanghai Pudong, Hangzhou Xiaoshan, Sunan Shuofang and Nanjing Lukou.
  • Railway: Suzhou – Shanghai, 20 minutes; Suzhou – Beijing, less than 5 hours.
  • Ports: Shanghai port, Taicang Port, Zhangjiagang Port, Changshu Port.
  • Highway: 14 entrances for Xiangcheng district
  • Metro: 14 metro lines planned (2 lines in service currently)
